Pampered Paws has been in operation for over 20 years, providing professional dog grooming services since 2001. Under the leadership of Arlene, who took over in 2011, the salon continues to be a trusted name known for it’s dedication to your dog’s well-being.
The team’s 30+ years of combined expertise and hands-on experience ensures that every dog receives the highest standard of care. We’re proud to have built a strong reputation, with referrals from not only our valued customers but also local pet professionals and qualified behaviourists.
The Team
Arlene – Owner
Arlene began working in Pampered Paws in 2009 shortly after training at Scotgroom in Carluke, she then went on to take over the business in 2011. With an iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, Arlene brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for grooming to the salon. She is dedicated to ensuring every dog leaves looking and feeling their best.
Kirsten – Salon Manager
Kirsten joined Pampered Paws in 2009 as a Saturday girl. Over the past 15 years, she has been dedicated to the continued development of her skills, in addition to an NC in Animal Care she now holds an iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management. As the Salon Manager, Kirsten oversees the daily operations, and does a fantastic job of ensuring everything runs smoothly while making sure the dogs are happy and well cared for.
Charlotte – Senior Groomer
Charlotte has been a valued member of the Pampered Paws team since 2017. She started as an Assistant and worked her way up, earning her OCN Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming from The Glasgow Dog Grooming Academy in 2021. With 7 years of experience, Charlotte is known for her gentle approach and is highly skilled in handling dogs of all temperaments.
Cara – Assistant Groomer
Cara joined Pampered Paws in March 2022 initially to help out covering Maternity Leave and quickly became a valued member of the team, she is a natural with dogs and is passionate about pursuing a career in dog grooming. Cara is dedicated to the continuation of her training and hopes to become a fully qualified dog groomer.
